KID ART
Summer 2005

This summer I taught a class called “art around the world.”  After talking with the kids about Chinese ink painting and Japanese woodblock prints, they made these works. The red stamps are the children’s chops.

I had the kids lay down on a long strip of paper, traced the out-line of the their bodies and then we all colored it in to make a mural for the hallway.  Some kids chose to draw themselves, others took a more creative approach…

Collages made in Collaborative Art Class.

Close-Ups of the giant painting we made in Collaborative Art.  Note the piece of paintbrush someone left behind!
